“Lithuanian Transport Leaders 2011” were announced by The Independent Expert Group on December 14, 2011. Awards were given to Lithuanian road and rail transport companies, freight forwarders, logistic companies, and managers. Winners were also announced in the technology sector. JSC “Vlantana” was announced as the winner of the award “Road Carrier of the Year 2011.” This award was signed by Eligijus Masiulis, the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania.
The election was organised by “Transportas” magazine, Lithuanian Technical Inspection Association “Transeksta,” Lithuanian National Forwarders’ Association “Lineka,” Lithuanian Logistics’ Association and Independent Expert Group. Project partners: “Lietuvos geležinkeliai,” “Scanbalt trailer,” “Eurodalys,” and the general sponsor of the project “DKV Euro service Baltikum.” The project is supported by The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania.
